Twit, twit, twit!

When I resumed blogging a few months ago, I promised to update my blog more often. Obviously, I didn’t even come close to keeping that promise, so now I have to make amends. I resolve to post at least one entry a week, even if it means that I have to blog about totally useless, random stuff, such as this:

Yep, I’ve caved in and registered with Twitter (username: melvel). It’s the simplest networking site out there, all you need to do is register (which took me less than a minute), post a status update whenever you want to, and “follow” your friends. It’s a no-frills way of knowing what your friends have been up to, without having to wade through all the quizzes and virtual gifts and changes in profile pictures and whatnot (I love Facebook, but seeing a million and one updates a day can get tiring after awhile).

Another plus? You can follow the status of your celebrities by just following their Twitter page. No approvals necessary!
