That’s Manny Pacquiao featured in Time Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. The magazine was released prior to Manny’s triumph last weekend. I guess Time’s editors are really confident in Manny’s abilities...or they’re just remarkably prescient.

Manny is the first Filipino to be named to this list and he’s one of only three athletes featured this year (the other two are Tiger Woods and Rafael Nadal). Even more impressive is this:

Manny gets a full page, while Oprah and Sarah Palin are squeezed on the opposite page. Bongga!

[On a side note, why does an issue of Time magazine cost 120 pesos already?!? Wasn’t this just around 50 pesos a few years ago?]
